Mark Lee has been encouraging people through stories and songs for practically his entire life. In 1991 he started the band Third Day with high school friend Mac Powell. Through a career spanning almost three decades, they released thirteen studio albums, with total sales approaching 9 million. The band won four Grammy Awards, an American Music Award, and numerous ASCAP and Gospel Music Association Awards.

Since Third Day completed their Farewell Tour in 2018, Lee has maintained a relentless touring schedule of speaking, performing live, and leading worship. He has released a memoir called Hurt Road. Poignant, funny, and thoughtful, Lee’s message challenges anyone feeling knocked down or run over by their circumstances to give up control to the One who already has the road all mapped out.
